JESUIT PUMMELS RUMMEL

Undefeated New Orleans Catholic Conference rivals Jesuit and Archbishop Rummel faced off in a 12 noon Saturday matchup with the Blue Jays blasting the Raiders 42-21.  I attended last week's Jesuit/Brother Martin game at Tad Gormley Stadium in which the Blue Jays won 41-3 and was very impressed with Jesuit's scrambling Quarterback Cameron Dobbins who also shined yesterday with 205 yards rushing in addition to linebacker Deon Jones who has committed to Nebraska.  Here is Andrew Lopez's report on the game from Nola.Com.

Jesuit quarterback Cameron Dobbins came up with big plays when his team needed them as the Blue Jays came away with at least a share of the 16th district championship in school history Saturday.
Dobbins finished with 205 yards rushing and three scores as Jesuit topped Rummel 42-21 at Joe Yenni Stadium. The win kept the Blue Jays undefeated at 9-0 and 3-0 in district and guaranteed a share of the 9-5A title.
