Davidson Gets Ugly Opening Win Over LeFlore In School-Night Struggle

Davidson clamps down on LeFlore despite struggling offense

MOBILE, Alabama -- If defense wins championships, Davidson might be on to something this season.
The Class 6A No. 5 Warriors (1-0) limited LeFlore to only 192 yards — and just 44 yards in the second half — and recorded six sacks in Thursday’s season-opening 13-7 victory over the Rattlers (0-1) at Archbishop Lipscomb Stadium.
