Fairhope visits Foley in Blue-Gold Trophy game
FOLEY, Alabama — Bragging rights and playoff positioning will both be at stake when the annual Blue-Gold game takes place between Foley High and visiting Fairhope High at Ivan Jones Stadium at 7 p.m. today.
"Anytime you get into a rivalry or big game you have to be able to go in and prepare during the week without getting caught up emotionally in the game and spend all of your emotions or play the game too early," Fairhope coach David Faulkner said. "You have to pace yourself and work on the preparations so you can go out and play well on game day."
