Fans at Long Beach and Biloxi are still buzzing over a pair of big wins last Friday and two excellent young quarterbacks.
Long Beach sophomore quarterback Thad Miller completed 24 of 29 passes for 467 yards and seven touchdowns in the Bearcats’ wild 56-42 victory over Moss Point. Miller has thrown for approximately 1,340 yards.
Biloxi junior quarterback Jaylen Woullard accounted for more than 300 yards in total offense in the Indians’ 46-14 romp past Ocean Springs. Woullard has now thrown for 1,309 yards and 17 touchdowns in seven games.
